The Relaxing Breath
This is a short guided meditation/hypnosis session by Ron Eslinger. He’ll invite you and show you how to gently relax into your parasympathetic nervous system (rest, digest, relax and repair). Make sure you’re in a quiet and peaceful environment when you listen. Headphones help and don’t listen if you’re driving.
Vipassana Meditation
An excellent explanation of Vipassana meditation by Kavita Maharaj. Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gotama Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ills.
Tapping
A term that has been used since the 1990s by Gary Craig to describe the technique of tapping on specific energy meridians of the body to release stress, pain, anxiety, grief, and limiting beliefs. Its roots lie in ancient Chinese medicine, but the practice has evolved to include aspects of grounding, cognitive reframing, NLP, and hebbian plasticity. This exercise falls under emotional freedom technique, EFT.
