Rodney has been invited to speak at the annual SMA conference about professional boundaries and offer strategies to help combat compassion fatigue. He is also on the SMA Education Committee.

Amy Hubbard, RN, became the first-ever Meta-Care Practitioner this year. She spent 220+ hours completing the curriculum developed by Rodney Overstreet, along with required journaling and mindfulness exercises.

Rodney is in exciting discussions with various universities about adding MetaCare units to their current nursing curriculums and eventually creating an official MetaCare degree for the healer of healers.
